Our legacy

Like every man in his mind we always wanted to leave something behind us, after God had gathered it up.

In 2016, in March, our desire and efforts were rewarded: the Telemeaua de Ibănești was recognized at the European Union level with the status of a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) product.

That means that we, two brothers from Ibănești, managed to convince the Brussels commission that our product deserves to be the only Romanian product (so far) that has a PDO.

That this Ibănești telemea is made according to a unique recipe, which has its roots hundreds of years ago and that its taste can make you remember it for the rest of your life.

Our heritage?

This is our heritage!

And it’s not just the legacy left to our children.

It is a legacy that we leave to Ibănești, to the people of Iibănești, to the Gurgai Valley and, why not, to Romania.

It is the little that we could do, the much that God gave us.

It is the mark that we, the Todoran brothers, have carved on a milestone in the history of these lands.
